We are Jonathan & Mary Alice— a husband-and-wife duo who believe life is best lived where passion meets purpose. By day, he’s an accountant and she’s a pharmacist—but at heart, we’re a chef-and-designer team dedicated to pairing elevated cuisine with thoughtfully crafted spaces. Since 2019, we’ve created curated supper club experiences, been honored to cater life’s special moments for friends and family, and hosted cooking classes to share the skills and flavors we love. Hosting brings us genuine joy, and there’s nothing we cherish more than creating memorable moments where great food, beautiful ambiance, and meaningful connection come together.

What's with the East Far East name?

We’re endlessly curious eaters who would happily travel the world just to taste its flavors if we could. We appreciate food from every culture, but with our Chinese and Filipino roots, we carry a soft spot for the Asian dishes they grew up loving—hence the “Far East.” And because we believe that if you keep journeying far east enough, you’ll eventually circle the globe, our name reflects both our heritage and our desire to explore every cuisine out there. Plus… it’s catchy.
